Description

Tesamorelin is a synthetic 44-amino-acid analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). In laboratory research it is studied as a GHRH-receptor agonist for its role in endogenous growth-hormone release and the GH/IGF-1 axis, and as a model compound in research into lipid metabolism and the GH/IGF-1 changes associated with ageing.
