Every TAD batch is documented and independently checked before it reaches the bench. Our verification runs on two layers.
- A manufacturer certificate of analysis on every batchEach batch is produced to a defined specification and arrives with a certificate of analysis (COA) from the production facility. The COA records the compound’s identity and its purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and, where supplied, molecular mass by mass spectrometry (MS).
- Independent third-party verificationWe don’t rely on the manufacturer’s paperwork alone. TAD sends samples from batches to an independent analytical laboratory, which re-runs HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity and molecular weight. Material that does not meet our ≥99% HPLC purity standard is not released.
What the checks show
| Check | What it tells us |
|---|---|
| HPLC purity | The proportion of the sample that is the target peptide, separated by liquid chromatography. Release standard: ≥99%. |
| Mass spectrometry | Confirms the molecular weight, and therefore the identity, of the peptide. |
| Lot tracking | Every vial carries a lot reference so it can be matched back to its certificate. |
A certificate of analysis is available for every batch we supply. You can look one up in the Quality & COA centre.
